Description & Notes
Charlson Meadows welcomes painters back for another year of creating art on their beautiful retreat grounds. The Artist Walk event invites guest to walk the grounds and see artists in action. As a special perk, lunch and dinner are provided to artists to round out the special day. Come for the whole day, or just for half… we’re excited to have you!
ARRIVAL
Artists are welcome to arrive anytime after 9:00 a.m. Greeters will meet you in the parking lot and help you get set up out on the trail. If you are going to arrive in the afternoon, please let us know so we can greet you are get you settled.
GUEST ARRIVALS
10:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m: First group of walking guests.
12:00 p.m. Lunch: Served on the back patio of the Nancy Nelson Lake House (sandwiches, salads, cookies)
2:00 - 4:00 p.m.: Second group of walking guests.
4:30 p.m. Dinner: Served on the back patio of the Nancy Nelson Lake House (Pizza from Joey Nova’s, salads, and cookies)
Consider adding your painting to the display near the pergola in the parking lot for the guests who are arriving at 5 p.m. to be able to see before their walk.
Enjoy the work of the other painters
5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Final group of walking guests.
ARTWORK DISPLAY
Please bring your painting to dinner so fellow artists can enjoy and appreciate your work.
ADDITIONAL INFO
Weather Plan: This is an outdoor event. In case of brief rain showers, we will have indoor seating available at the Nancy Nelson Lake House. If severe weather is expected, we will notify you by email about any changes or cancellations.
Liability Waiver: Please sign the waiver before arrival.
Driving Directions: The entrance to Charlson Meadows is discreet and can be easily missed.
Registration
Paint-outs are open to all OPM members and their guests. Participants are not required to register, but it's helpful so we can communicate any last minute changes to locations or weather cancellations. Participants may arrive any time during the duration of the paint-out, but keep in mind that painters will migrate to painting locations once the paint-out begins.
