Outdoor Painters of Minnesota is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit funded primarily by membership dues and event registrations. We graciously welcome donations of time and funding to help support and spread plein air painting in Minnesota.

John Franz Memorial Donation
OPM gratefully celebrates the life and work of John Franz, who contributed a lifetime of professional and personal dedication to art education, community building, and the practice of art as a celebration of creation and creativity. All proceeds will be used in furtherance of OPM’s mission to promote and share the practice of plein air painting through friendship, education, and community.

General Donation
OPM creates value for members by organizing paint-outs, workshops, exhibits, competitions, painting trips, museum tours, and presentations. Donations directly support our educational programs and make new opportunities possible.

Painting Pick-Up Donation
We want everyone to be able to participate in exhibit opportunities. Donations to our Pick-Up Crew Fund compensate volunteer drivers to retrieve paintings for other artists at the end of exhibits and then deliver throughout greater Minnesota.

OPM is completely volunteer-driven with no paid staff, and we are happy to utilize the skills and knowledge of our community. If you are interested in serving on our Board of Directors or volunteering at an event, please reach out!
