Simplification: Learn to organize and simplify information in complex scenery.

Sunday Afternoon: 1-4pm
Meet at 12:50pm at Sugarloaf Nature Center, 9096 Highway 61 in Schroeder, about 36 miles southwest of Grand Marais. Follow the path from the parking lot to the Nature Center, then the group will walk down to the lakeshore.
Large Plein Air: Learn Scott's approach to creating a 30x40" painting in the field. Meet at Sugarloaf Cove Nature Center in Schroeder, where an all-day paint-out is scheduled at the unique geological and natural area of Sugarloaf Cove. After the workshop and paint-out, an Artist Social is hosted by organizer Allison Eklund at her family's nearby Sugarloaf Family Cabins.

Tuesday Morning: 9am-12pm
Meet at 8:50am out on the rocks at Artists' Point. Park in the main lot or in the back lot by the portable toilets, and follow path toward Artists' Point. Turn left from the steps to the breaker wall. Meet at open rock area by the water.
Seeing Color: Get great color in your paintings using a simple method: See it. Mix it. Check it. Paint it.
Tuesday Afternoon: 1-4pm
Meet at 12:50pm at JHP, then walk across the street to Harbor Park.
