2025 MPAC Exhibit
​at Marshall Area Fine Arts Council

MPAC proudly announces its third annual traveling exhibit of plein air paintings from Minnesota's premier plein air events in Grand Marais, Red Wing, and Battle Lake. The Marshall Area Fine Arts Council will host the exhibit from January 21 to March 14, 2025. Artists submitted one painting from each qualifying event attended in 2023 or 2024: Plein Air Grand Marais, Winter Plein Air, Red Wing Plein Air, and Prairie Lakes Plein Air. A selection committee has chosen at least one qualifying painting from each artist with a goal of displaying a balance of paintings from each event. Paintings may be offered for sale, with MAFAC retaining 25% commission. There is no fee to participate.

Important Dates:
November 4, 2024: MPAC meeting to select final paintings 
January 18, 2025: 1:00pm – 4:00pm painting delivery and installation of exhibit
January 21, 2025: Exhibit Opens
Feburary 1, 2025: 1:00pm – 3:00pm Opening Reception
March 14, 2025: Exhibit Ends
March 15, 2025: 1:00p – 4:00pm Painting Retrieval
